Compared to the Lion Mantlet, the E-Shield is slightly slower and features a softer, more elastic rubber compound, enhancing its ability to neutralize incoming spin and speed.
The top layer of the E-Shield has been sanded, providing a bit more grip than other anti-spin rubbers from Lion and SpinLord, allowing for better control and placement. Despite its slightly increased grip, the E-Shield maintains a high level of spin reversal and is particularly effective for close-to-the-table blocking and defensive strategies.
